Wow! Another visit to Farmhand and boy was it a big day for Blueberry. The sonographer took lots of pictures and tried for a long time to find out if Blueberry is a boy-berry or a girl-berry. No luck though. 15 weeks is apparently too early in Blueberry season. Blueberry's little heart was going at 140 beats per minute and Blueberry was squirming and flipping and even waving. In fact, the sonographer even got a picture of Blueberry saying hello, since, as a Mortimer, Blueberry is a natural lover of attention. Mamaberry and Farmer got a real kick out of seeing it, and why not, since two months of waiting to see Blueberry is a long time. Mamaberry and Farmer spent a long time talking about how exciting everything was. Farmhand said that everything was looking good, and even gave a listen to Blueberry's heart. Everything sounds good. He said that we would have a sonogram next time (19 weeks), which means we should pretty well know then about whether Blueberry is a boy or a girl. Until then, it's more waiting and guessing.
